[Recap] Long Khong Series EP 4: Another One Bites the Dust

We start off this episode learning about Praewa's scars and how she survived the hex someone had put on her. As it turns out, her mother is a witch doctor. In order for Praewa to defeat the hex, she needs to be one too so her mother transfers her power to Praewa. Thus, that was how she became an evil witch with a vengeance. The process is quite gruesome, like most things as the series progresses. The hex is forcefully removed from her body physically, which explains the scars. 

Aya is questioned by the police about Ping's death. He has a feeling Aya dropped Ping on purpose. Aya denies this and tries to tell the truth about what she saw. Except the truth is hardly believable in this case. The police officer naturally doesn't take her story seriously but decides to let her go rest when she gets hysterical. Like the police, reporters who have been waiting outside suspect that Aya did it on purpose because she had a beef with Ping. She doesn't let up and insists on saying she saw what she saw.

Lilin and Dan discuss Praewa's strange return and all the terrible things that have happened since. Liilin says she saw the same thing Aya did. The two decide to begin their own investigation into Praewa. Meanwhile, Nat is accusing Aya of purposefully dropping Ping. The Squad is in chaos and in danger of disbanding. Professor Pat kicks Aya out of the team.

Praewa's mother is having another episode. She is seen throwing a photo frame to the ground and cursing at it. Praewa puts it back together. It's a photo of her and another girl when they were young. We learn that her name is Sai in a flashback. Praewa and Sai were in the same orphanage. Sai is seemingly the stronger one of the two. She tells Praewa that they'll both grow up to be successful women. They'll always be together and Sai essentially tells her that Praewa can be her personal assistant in so my words.

We flashback to the current timeline where Praewa is visiting the orphanage. She is seen by Dan giving stuffed animals and snacks to orphans. She looks perfectly happy and normal. For now. Dan shows the recording to Lilin. 

Kat (No, I don't know who she is either) is on a phone with her agent in a parking lot. She's telling them that she won't accept the acting job she had signed up for because she won't be starring with Nat like she wanted. Praewa attacks her with a rusty gigantic pipe.  She is taken to a rooftop and interrogated by Praewa about the girl in the sex tape. Kat says she doesn't know who it was. She only knows that Professor Pat was the one who put the blame on Praewa. Praewa lets Kat go, but she leaves her on the rooftop with the exit door locked. Kat's fate is unknown as she screams for help from a high-rise rooftop.

Lilin and Dan pay a visit to the orphanage. Lilin is given information from the woman in charge thanks to the fact that her father is a big donator of this place. They learn about Sai and Praewa who were adopted together. She heard that something bad had happened that caused Sai to run away from home. Lilin and Dan decide to visit where Praewa used to live as a child. The place is empty and messy. Things were left tossed around like they left in a hurry. Lilin and Dan discover a room where a voodoo ritual was held. They found photographs of a seemingly happy family. One of the photos is Sai being used in a ritual. They leave when Lilin begins to feel really uneasy.

Praewa is speaking to Professor Pat in her office. She knows that the bitchy professor was the one who threw her under the bus in order to protect someone. They argue. Praewa recites a spell causing flies and ants to come out of her skin triggering everyone's trypophobia. It’s similar to what Praewa went through to become a witch doctor. Except Praewa survived and Professor Pat doesn't. Arguably, this is a worst death so far. At least it was quick for the other two. Praewa leaves the professor screaming. As she's dying, she flashes back to when Brave and Nat are in her office discussing the leaked sex tape. She tells them she will fix it for them by using Praewa as the scapegoat. A man is seen giving her a check of 200,000 baht for protecting whoever it was in the sextape. 

Next week, more deaths as the last of The Squad try to stay alive.
