[Recap] Long Khong Series EP 2: Well, It's Over

Right off the bat, we meet a different witch doctor from the previous episode who seems to be doing one of those Buzzfeed's We Tried a $500 Facial Mask videos as his face is covered in gold paper for some reason. A mysterious girl receives a small cursed totem from him.

So we don't know what happened to Praewa specifically. It's been a while since anyone has seen her. According to The Squad, they took their final exams and have returned from the break. You'd think they'd be more concerned about leaving a girl for dead, but whatever. They all, minus Lilin and maybe Dan, still hate her just because.

We learn that there's a new watergirl now that Praewa has disappeared. The Squad's glad Praewa has been replaced. Their joy doesn't last for long as she's back from whatever happened to her and casually returns to doing her job while everyone else seems disturbed. See, now she's being creepy. 

They hold a meeting with the advisor (Prof. Pat) on whether or not they should kick Praewa out. Justin says no because if they were to kick Praewa out, they'd need to kick Brave out too since they both were in that video. But the bitchy advisor decides to set women's rights by a few decades. She argues that Brave is more important to the team so she's kicking Praewa out and Brave's off the hook….even though he was the asshole that recorded his own sex tape, probably without the other party's consent. Her words are final. Praewa's out. Brave stays.

Lilin checks in on Praewa who has done a 180 personality wise. She knows what Aya and the rest did to Praewa. Prawa says she's fine. Lilin tells her to be careful. I don't know, maybe you should tell your friends not to be horrible people and commit crimes. 

The Squad continues to talk shit about Praewa's return, because that's all they do apparently. Nat points out that she seems different this time around. They joke about Kin and Nat being a couple to give the viewers some crumbs. Later that night, Aya has a nightmare that she's being haunted by a bloodied Praewa.

The next day, Kin and Nat are being interviewed about the cheer team choosing the center position like they're a kpop group. The reporter asks them about their relationship. As expected, they say they're just good friends. Ping and Praewa watch them from behind and goads her that anyone would wanna be the center. 

Kin suddenly doesn't feel too well. He has a fever and asks Nat to take him to the medical office. Ping and Brave talk about how it's weird that those two seem closer than they appear to be. You know, like it's a big deal that a friend takes another friend who isn't feeling well to get help or something. All these characters suck as people.

Kin is feeling better now and tells Nat not to worry and leave. But he can't leave because they look into each other's eyes and kiss as though something has come over them. It's like those life or death moments where the leads are about to do something dangerous and they kiss. Except either of them are in danger...kinda. This whole thing is witnessed by Khaimook who had climbed over a wall for a peep show. She manages to snap some photos but misses out on the money shot.

Back in her room, Khaimook is overjoyed by what she had witnessed! It was a shipper's dream come true. As it turns out, it was her who went to the gilded mask witch doctor. She made this happen! Honestly, it's all kinds of fucked up. She's playing cupid out of her own pleasure of seeing two boys kissing. Her roommate warns her that she shouldn't have been spying and to cool it with shipping the two guys. She finds it suspect that they even kissed at all. It's almost as if they were under a spell, she says. She's not wrong.

Kin just can't stay from Nat now and acts like a crazy ex. He goes to Nat's apartment and does a literal interpretation of TVXQ's Purple Line "I really wanna touch myself" in his car. Nat himself gets repulsed by a woman's touch to the point where he had a physical reaction. Again, a shipper's dream coming true.

The next day, Khaimook goes to the locker room and leaves her stuff behind for the sake of the plot. We learn that there's a small empty area behind the lockers where Praewa is casually hiding. This area will come into play later. Praewa has no respect for other's privacy ever since she has returned from...whatever happened to her in the pilot episode. She goes through Khaimook's things just in time to get caught. Praewa tells Khaimook that she was just looking. Khaimook rightfully feels creeped out and leaves. 

Back at the other locker room area. Kin and Nat are talking about how Kin is mad that Nat didn't answer his calls last night because Nat was with another girl. Kin says he doesn't give a shit if Nat wants to bang some girl. They stare with angst at each other.

For reasons unknown aside from the sake of the plot, Khaimook is wandering around the gym after hours. She discovers Kin and Nat presumably having gay sex and cries instead of leaving. I say presumably because we literally saw a split of someone making out with someone else and things falling off a cabinet. Anyway, Khaimook is super distressed by this and goes see the gilded mask witch doctor again. She is all "it was a prank, bro!" Just kidding, she says she only wanted them to fall in love and be cute, and not have gay sex! Kissing against their will was okay, actual penetration was crossing the line to Khaimook, it seems. The witch doctor discovers that someone had double dipped on the putting some voodoo shit on the totem which made it extra potent, hence the sex. Khaimook suspects that Praewa is behind this. 

Kin and Nat's coitus was caught on a security camera which got leaked. Like, that can’t be legal, to have a camera in the locker area like that? So now the two are called to Professor Pat’s office. Both of them offer no explanations to what had happened. Nat says it felt like a dream. Kin has no idea how it happened, they weren’t even drunk. Neither of them deny that it happened though. Kin gets a message from an unknown number taunting about what happened. He gets violently sick and is taken to the medical office once more.

Anyway, Praewa murders a bunch of men who tried to sexually assault her after she was attacked by Aya. 

Back at the medical office, Kin's condition worsens as Praewa continues her voodoo bullshit and wants her room to smell like burnt hair. Kin is sent photos of the dead murdered dudes. Why? Because he was the asshole that called them to pick up Praewa that day! Suddenly, I don't feel so bad for him. What kind of bitch ass move was that? Anyway, he throws up some goop that looks like hair. He goes crazy and thinks he's being haunted by those dead dudes. And to follow the most used tropes in Thai TV, when you go crazy, you jump off a building. So he does and lands right in front of his friends. Dan notices Praewa watching maniacally from the side then she disappears.

Next episode, it's time we choose a center for the cheer team like they're on Produce 101/48/X. (RIP to both Kin and the Produce series.) And yes, I know I'm like 2 weeks behind on these recaps but after correctly predicted that we'd get queerbaited this week, I've been slow on catching up on this series.
